Welcome to the home of the Best in the West! This site was created to bring together two great chapters of the International Society of Explosives Engineers, the Northern Plains Chapter and the Black Hill Chapter, and one great conference, the Best in the West Drilling and Blasting Conference.

This site was constructed to make it easier for individuals or companies to pay membership dues, register for the Best in the West Conference, stay in touch with upcoming events, and keep up-to-date with the drilling and blasting industry.

The Best in the West Drill & Blast Conference was held April 24-26, 2019, in Spearfish, South Dakota. Mark your calendars! The 33rd Annual BITW Conference will be April 15-17, 2020.
