The purpose of the Black Hills Chapter of ISEE is to bring blasters, drillers, and anyone interested in explosives together for the exchange of information and the enhancement of our profession. Our chapter is made up of a cross section of the industry which includes drillers, blasters, miners, academics, consultants, powder company representatives, law enforcement, fire protection, military personnel, and students. The membership is generally located in the states of South Dakota, Nebraska, or North Dakota.
Meetings are held quarterly in various locations in the Black Hills. In addition, the Black Hills Chapter hosts the "Best in the West" Drilling and Blasting Conference every spring, in partnership with the Northern Plains Chapter.
